MY COLLEGE JOURNEY

| August 8, 2018 (First day in college) |
I am an
ordinary student with an extraordinary dream in life. I am taking Bachelor of
Science in Information Technology (BSIT) at Panpacific University North
Philippines (PUNP)-Tayug Campus. My aunt decided to study at this school because
she knows that this school has a good quality of education and it is the
nearest school in their house. My aunt also supports my studying. I want to
finished studying because I believe in myself that I can, and I want it because
it will help me to become successful in the future.
August 8,
2018. I wake up at six o'clock in the morning. I prepared for our breakfast,
after that I took a bath then I wear my school uniform. After eating breakfast,
I checked my bag and my class schedule then I was shocked that ten o'clock in
the morning is my first subject, that was too obvious that I am very excited at
my college life. As usual, first day of school, we will introduce ourselves. I
have a little bit nervous, because I am afraid to judge at my first day in
school. I did my best to introduce myself, I follow one thing that my teacher
told that if you are afraid to speak at front, just look at the top of the head
of your audience, so that you will be not distracted in eye-to-eye contact. I
successfully introduce myself. My first subject at that time is Understanding
the Self, and our professor is Mr. Elmar C. Fernando. I feel boring because, I
don’t understand the subject. I think, I am just adjusting about college subject,
because it has a wider knowledge that will give it to me. I have my friends
that enrolled at the same course and school, so that it is not hard to adjust
by the environment. I have notice that we are crowded in IT1, and I thought we
will be divided into to two block or section. My first impression to my
classmates is not good, because I know that their character is very far to me.

| NSTP Bench Cheer Activity |
My first siblings in college is IT1. I see to them the different kind of people. The different traits, different skills, and different kind of life story. The time we had together, it is full of laugh and happiness, because some of my classmate are funny and joker. We create a little bit memory, because after two weeks, we divided into two block. But before the day separated a block, we build first a teamwork. We perform a bench cheer in our NSTP. We are so glad because we got a perfect score.

Two of my friend in senior high school, Giza Ferrer and Manuel Maglaya also choose to study here at PUNP, we enrolled at the same time. We also choose the same profession to take and we believe the we will graduate at the same time. But since our block divided into two, Manuel get separated to us, so we have only few times to have bonding. Our friendship is not change, even we are not always together, not just like we did before. We know the secret of each other, we know everyone's crushes. At this time, we are planning for our reunion together with Lendsy Villanueva, Rommel Gano, and William Aquino Jr., because we are "The Last 6 Copains." Until now, our friendship is getting stronger, even sometimes there is something happen like fighting between one another, because of misunderstanding.

| Zumba every Friday |
There is an activity in school every Friday, the zumba. Me and my classmates forced to dance because it is for our grade. I do not know how to dance, but because it has a plus points, my dancing skill comes out. I enjoy the dance and follow the zumba instructor and it makes me happy. It is also one of my stress reliever. All the stress from school like assignments, projects, activity comes out because of dancing. This is our routine before going home. Sometimes, i getting lazy to dance, so that after my subject in afternoon, I go home, or after I register to the zumba, we go out to the and we will waste our time there eating snacks.

Accreditation
This is one of my unluckiest day is during our meeting in accreditation, because I am not yet ready to have a meeting to a professionals. My classmates frightened me that I should speak English, and English is my weakness. Then, they say that I must memorize the Mission and Vision of our university, and memorization is also my weakness. I am so nervous and scared that time. The meeting end up and I very happy because, accreditors don't ask me to recite or ask a question.
Aquintance Party
Urban Streetwear Party is one of the memorable moment in my first year and first trimester in college. I am so happy here because this makes me feel the life of teenager. I enjoyed the night with my friends and classmates. We own the floor that night by dancing. But the most special is having fellowship to others.
CCS Day
A day to remember but a night with a blank memory. I don't want to give a story here at this event because, it gets me hurt as a teenager and in a legal age.
After a stressful days, I can take rest, sleep more, eat more and do more. I am done with first trimester, ready to face a new journey again. Goodbye quizzes, activities, projects, and final output.

See you on November 27, 2018 my beloved school, that was our enrollment and we will be together again on December 3, 2018, for the second trimester begins. To my grades at first trimester, be good to me. Thank you!!!
